I was in touch with them about a year ago and was assured that ASA had given the priority green light to P. Keller to update Sequence to specifically address a number of known and accepted issues with it.  This would include resolution of my main issue regarding the need to specify the filter to be used for autofocus rather than the software defaulting to using the filter selected for imaging the target.

Periodically I have chased them on this but have not had the courtesy of a response.

We actually Sequence to end and Autoslew to get a upgrade.

There a so many automation programs out there is no need for Sequence.

It requires the use of  unnecessary expensive components such as pinpoint and Max DL. Also, it is way too limited for device support

If we had access to a few non ASCOM features such as MLPT we would have it made.

Let's start a online petition for openning up a few driver options

Given that sequence and autoslew are both free with the mount (or were when I got mine) I didn’t mind buying pinpoint and I already had maxim. The beauty of sequence is that it is simple to use and when it works which is about 99% of the time it’s brilliant. The downsides are the odd untraceable bugs and the limitations such as with the autofocus filter. The ASA plan to upgrade sequence is still going ahead as I understand it and I will be very content when it is finally released.

I really hope that any future version of Autoslew and Sequence will still work on my DDM60Pro !!!

I see that ASA seems to be moving into bigger and bigger mounts .... I hope that they don't forget the "little" versions as they cost quite a bit of dosh at the time!

I really like my DDM60 Pro and want a lot more life out of it .... and I can't afford to buy a bigger version ... and also .... I certainly don't want to start all over again and replace my mount with a completely new make!

If ASA does forget my DDM60 then the re-sale value of my mount will drop to zero :-(((

Do ASA ever read these comments?

Do ASA read these forums? Nope. probably not.

I too am hoping for the new software to come along, and to work with "legacy" mounts. If truly platform independent maybe I can ditch the Win-Dross that has just stuffed up my system with a sneaky update.
