MichiP
Hello, I have the problem that I'm not able to move the mount with Maxim DL 5. Maxim is telling that I'm connected but when Maxim is telling the Mount to move 1 deg. nothing happens. The buttons are also grey. Does somebody have any idea what the problem could be? Best regards, Michael
prefetch
perhaps you could explain how you are connecting maxim to autoslew. tell us about the ASCOM connectivity you are using, and what it is reporting.
MichiP
Hi, currently I was creating a complete error description with screenshots etc. and I can't explain it why, but it's working suddenly perfect. Hmm.. I don't know why and what happend the socpe is moveing as it should. I like it when porblems got solved but I don't like it when I don't know why and what the solution was I'm connected remote to my obs, but I don't think that this was the solution. I still hope that the problem will not appear again, but next time I'll come up from the beginning with much more precious description. GeorgeCarey
A friend of mine with a Paramount MX had all sorts of problems. Eventually we found that the order in which we switched on equipment and software was very important. Particularly the sequence of USB connections. nakbrooks
Don't get me started on my "why don't manufacturers revert to serial connections" hobby horse!
