Homefind Issues

Recently I started to develop many position errors in my runs. Now I can no longer get my DDM 85XL to accomplish a "Homefind". The home find screen will pop-up, but nothing occurs. It just sits there with no occurrence of blue squares moving across or mount movement. The mount will perform an "autofind", but that is it....I have rebooted, changed cables, etc. Has anybody ever experienced this? Boy am I getting frustrated...

Hi John,

 

If you were a beginnner, I would have said: check your balance! But in your case, this cannot be the trouble. Have you checked the braking screw (if any on the XL, I have such a screw on my DDM85 standard)?

 

Else, it looks like your mount is having troubles. Did you look at the log files?

I think this issue deserves a contact to ASA support.
