GerhardB
Hi, A showpiece object, which I have not visited for a long time. My goal was to get a very deep image while avoiding a burn out of the bright center. mattssporre
Gerhard, I am usually that fond of star clusters - but this one even I have to admit is magnificent The resolution and color is excellent, but also the composition (including the galaxy in the top) is way above average. Good work! BRMatts
MichiP
Hi Gerhard, very nice work on this object especially the core of M13 and the souroundings are very well combined. Best regards, Michael

afesan
Hi Gerhard, Stars are perfectly resolved (many times I see globular clusters with "soap" stars ).. Nice one¡¡ Antonio

DaveK
Impressive. Could you kindly post the details of your exposures. I have never successfully imaged a globular cluster and I would very much like to know how you acquired the data. By the way, besides the extraordinary resolution on the stars, you have at least five galaxies in your image! One good sized at the top, another medium below it and then three tiny galaxies on the right side. Dave
GerhardB
Hi Dave, Thank you for your nice comments. The details of the exposures are listed on my website. My approach was to comine long and short exposeres to get a deep image on the one side and a fully resolved and not overexposed core on the other side.
