Corpze
Hi, i was wondering if MLPT is a benefit when you have a big 40 star pointing model in a stationary observatory? This seems to be a bit tricky if i want to run completely automated. /Daniel
prefetch
the short answer is, if you aren't guiding, then yes, MLPT can be useful, even with a 40 star pointing model in a stationary observatory. not sure what you mean by it being tricky if you run automated. do you use a remote desktop viewer? if so, then it's just the same. if not, then yes, i think it'd be very tricky to use the ASA tools. Corpze
Thanks for the answer. Well, can you schedule MLPT? I haven't read anything about that, and i am not that experienced in Sequence. /Daniel
GerhardB
Hi Daniel, With the beta versions of Autoslew and Sequence you can configure a fully automatic run, including MLPT and autofocusing. The last versions run very stable with my configuration, and I run automatized now for almost two years. Best regards, Gerhard
