gshennessy
I wish to create a pointing model for my DDM 85. The list of corrections shows many terms that seem to map to a TPOINT like model, but there are two listed corrections that aren't obvious to me. These are Pier Correction RA and Pier Correction DE. Is there documentation to indicate what the formula is applied? For example, in TPOINT collimation is CH and the formula is CH sec(dec) applied to change in hour angle. I bought my DDM recently having owed an Paramount ME too. From what I can tell you can resync at will. No short mapping run is need. I would loved to understand the differences of the two systems. No many documents on this one. Max
