Dirk
Hello Group, I'm using AutoSlew, CCDAP 5, MaximDL 5, TheSky X and DDW for my dome. After updating to the latest AutoSlew version I have the problem, that during a CCDAP controled image session, the guider moves after the meridan flip in the wrong direction. It seems that only the X-axis is wrong. Flip guide directions after flip within AutoSlew is not checked. Attached my MaximDL guider settings. Has anyone an idea where the problem is or what I have to change ? Thanks and best regards, Dirk
0 astrosirius
Hello Dirk Have you checked in Menu of Autoslew the Flip Options? Maybe you have the option selected in "Stay on side instead" instead of "Prefer West" Best regards Luis Romero www.astrosirius.org Edited March 8, 2016 by astrosirius
0 Dirk
Hello Luis, in AutoSlew I have selected "prefer west" and the limits for crossing meridian are set to "0". The flip is working with no problems but the following guiding moves in the wrong way. Here is also the CCDAP Log. 0 Dirk
Hello maxmirot, you mean the autoguider setting within AutoSlew ? I'll test it as soon as the weather is ok. Best regards, Dirk Edited March 11, 2016 by Dirk
0 prefetch
no, i believe he means within maximDL. if i recall correctly, in the camera window, under the guide tab there is a check box you can select to reverse the x,y after a flip. (i also use maximDL, autoslew and theskyx.)
0 Dirk
@ maxmirot: I have tested with enabling the option -Flip guide directions after Meridianflip- within AutoSlew. But the result was similar. After the flip the X-axis guide direction was ok but the Y-axis moves in the wrong way. 0 Dirk
Hi Max, within AutoSlew I can only find the Option -Flip guide directions after Meridianflip- But I can't find somthing like "only Reverse X" or "only Reverse Y" Best regards, Dirk
0 Dirk
Hello, in the meantime I tested the MaximDL flip options "Reverse X, Reverse Y and Reverse X and Y". To make these options active, I also enabled "Auto Pier Flip" within MaximDL. Because after the pier flip the guiding moves wrong in the X-axis I used the Reverse X option. But now the guiding moves wrong in the Y-axis. So I tried Reverse Y but now the X-axis moves wrong. So I tried Reverse X and Y. This time the guider moves wrong in X-axis and Y-axis. It's curios, but the guiding moves always wrong. Has anyone an idea why it's not possible to achive correct guiding with Reverse X, Reverse Y or Revers X and Y ? Don't know if it's important for the behavier, I'm living on the northern hemisphere. Regards, Dirk
